It started with a wardrobe clear-out and a frustrating realisation. Half the clothes didn’t fit the way they used to, and the other half were bought in a rush because there wasn’t much else on offer. Sound familiar?

The idea for Aussie Clad was born out of a simple, recurring problem: once you’re past your mid-forties, the high street quietly stops catering to you. The cuts get tighter, the fabrics get thinner, and the assumption seems to be that you’ll either settle for something frumpy or pay a premium for a label.

Neither option sat well with us. So we decided to do something about it.
Aussie Clad exists because we believe there’s a straightforward middle ground: well-made, comfortable clothes that suit real bodies and real lives — without the inflated price tag or the compromise on how you look.
